*Neolithic people discovered how to cultivate plants from seeds. This was the beginning of agriculture.
*Because of the invention of agriculture, people became sedentary. They didn't move around to look for food.
* They lived in villages.
*Some people were artisans and other worked as farmers.
*People started to exchange the products they made and the crops they cultivated. This was the beginning of trade.
